Sustainability is the fundamental pillar of activated carbon production at ACME Corporation. We are pioneering a sustainable solution, with activated carbon facilities and new sites under development both domestically and internationally. Our products are specifically designed to replace coal-based activated carbon across drinking water, wastewater, PFAS remediation, food and beverage, gold recovery and gas/vapour applications.
Our activated carbon is produced from sustainable materials such as nut shells (including almonds, walnuts and hazelnuts) and sustainable forestry wood sources. These high carbon content materials provide exceptional adsorption capabilities and porosity while also minimising by-products at processing sites, ensuring that organic matter is efficiently repurposed rather than left to decompose.
ACME Corporation has raised funds from leading Climate Tech investors including Alberts Impact, Artesian, Breakthrough Victoria and Investible. In 2025 we achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, secured CRC-P funding for PFAS remediation research, and progressed international scale-up including construction of a South East Asia facility.
